Checklist

Campaign launch checklist for ad ops

Before launching a campaign, confirm the correct account, approved assets, destination URLs, schedule, measurement setup and publishing approval. After publication, verify the actual records and delivery in the platform.

Use this checklist alongside the requirements of each platform and your campaign brief. It is a team review aid; it is not a claim that AdSync automatically tests every item below.

1. Account and campaign scope

  • Confirm advertiser, account and campaign identifiers.
  • Match the approved plan, placements and naming convention.
  • Check that the reviewer and publisher have the required permissions.
  • Confirm budget responsibility and any platform-specific limits.

2. Assets and destinations

  • Use the approved creative version, language and dimensions.
  • Check file format, file size and placement specifications.
  • Open the final landing URL and confirm it reaches the intended page.
  • Check creative-to-placement assignments and remove unintended duplicates.

3. Schedule and measurement

  • Confirm start and end dates, account time zone and scheduling.
  • Review tracking parameters and conversion configuration with the measurement owner.
  • Separate platform delivery metrics from website sessions and conversions.
  • Record exclusions, outstanding issues and any approved exceptions.

4. Approval and publication

  • Review the proposed changes and resolve blocking QA findings.
  • Record who approved the campaign and which version was approved.
  • Publish only the approved scope.
  • Check platform responses; keep failed objects for review.

5. Post-launch verification

Inspect the live campaign records and creative previews. Once the scheduled start is reached, check eligibility and delivery, destination behavior and reporting availability. Low or missing delivery needs investigation; it is not automatically an import failure.

Save the approved sheet and launch record. For later revisions, identify the specific records that change and repeat the relevant checks.
